Looking for a
Volunteer Opportunity?

Prior to each book sale, the library will be seeking tween and teen volunteers to help with the set up of the sale. 

​

The date of each book sale set up will be promoted on the library's calendar. Call or visit the library if you have any questions.

The next Book Sale set up is Saturday, May 30th
at 10:30 am.
Community Service slips will be available.

Donation Times: 
As of May 1, 2026 we are accepting donations for the June Book Sale.

Donations accepted during open hours until we reach our capacity.

Donation Guidelines:

The library's book sales are held three times a year. Due to limited space, the library is only able to accept donations at specific times (usually the month before the sale). 

​

  • Small donations (2 bags/boxes) are accepted during open hours.

  • Please speak with a staff member to notify them of your donation. Donations are subject to inspection.

  • Contact the library at (518) 483-5251 if you wish to make a large book donation.

  • Please do not drop off donations when we are closed, leave them at the front door or parking lot, or put them in library book drops.

  • We do not accept textbooks, encyclopedias, VHS or cassette tapes, magazines, or anything that is musty, moldy, or dusty.

    The library appreciates your donation of used books and/or movies. These items may be added to our collection, but are more often added to our book sale.
